While hundreds of underaged-looking kids headed to the Eminem concert on Friday, I went to the Opera House to see the Sydney Symphony Orchestra. ‘The Lost Art of Letter Writing’ was a bit too discordant for me (as the gentleman beside me put it, ‘there’s only so much out-of-tune violin one can take’) but on the plus side, it made the Brahms and Schubert symphony sound even more lovely. I ended up sitting next to a couple of girls from my high school and their boyfriends, which was a little awkward for me and Z … story of my life, lol.
